This book was definitely something all new to me. I typically read fantasy and science fiction, but lately I started going for ones that are out of my comfort zone. I felt drawn to this book, because the synopsis actually reminded me a bit of myself. That worried me, but also made me think that I would like the book more if I can relate to it.
It turned out to be more than I expected. As someone who finds comfort in making food, I liked the moments where Anna Kate would be cooking in the kitchen. ...more
