This is the worst book I've ever read.
The only other book to lock me into a thousand yard stare and evoke endless sighs like this was Hail Hibbler.
You'll never convince me that this was anything more than a stream-of-consciousness first draft, handed in to her editor who thought, I could put work into improving this, but it will sell twenty million copies no matter what, so why bother?
There were one or two decent chapters, with reasonably effective emotion. This started at page 295. I thought, ...more
