I had forgotten about this book and trilogy until I saw something about a new Willow series in production for the Disney+ streaming service. I have only vague memories of the details of the story, but all of the 1-star reviews sound about right. I always strive to write balanced reviews, acknowledging the good and less good in every book. Someone (Chris Claremont) worked really hard to write Shadow Moon, so props to him for that. There are a ton of words here. Other than that, I can't even with this. The collaboration with then-Saint George Lucas did Claremont no favors, as what is desperately needed here is an EDITOR, for continuity, for tone, for coherence, and if you were unfortunate enough to see the SW prequels you know that no edi
