My first Okorafor, but will not be my last! This novella reads like a contemporary fairytale set in the near future in northern Ghana. There is commentary on the haves and have nots, societal attitudes towards youth and women, Islam, corruption, and technology all in this slim volume.
I loved the size, shape, font, and paper of the physical copy.
