Y’all I KNEW Nicky Drayden was gonna be a favorite! Escaping Exodus was SO GOOD. Afro-futurist inter-caste queer love story set inside a space beast. Sounds weird? It is! But it was also great writing and tons of gross exquisite world building and character development. 10/10 for cover art!

Oh man this book! It had everything - fantastic world building, strong heroines, queer representation, political intrigue, class discussions, and of course just enough weird tentacle scenes to make me worried for my sanity.
