Escaping Exodus was an interesting space opera book. The central idea was compelling that humans had colonized the inside of interstellar space “beast” after leaving Earth. Unfortunately, I found the characterization poorly done, which I think derived from using the first person narrative point-of-view while jumping between two different characters. Afro-futurist inter-caste queer love story set inside a space beast. Sounds weird? It is! But it was also great writing and tons of gross exquisite world building and character development. 10/10 for cover art!
