Pretty good, I liked the movie better. She's stronger in the movie. I did like how you got to know the characters. I loved Rue, she was a bright little thing :)
I loved Peeta, he's the type of guy I'd want to hang out with :)
Gale...meh. Not a huge fan.
SORRY TO ALL YOU GALE LOVERS... don't hate me!
It's a good idea, I loved the thought behind it. It's not quite something I can imagine actually happening, but it's still good ^-^ ...more

When my brother bought this book, I saw the name and decided not to read it. Then one boring night, the mockingjay pin on the cover caught my eye and I couldn't help reading it. It was the right choice.
Okay, so not revealing the plot much, here goes:
In Panem, there's this thing called Hunger Games every year. In that, a girl and a boy aged between 12 to 18 are to be chosen from each district (there are 12 districts) to go in a man made arena where the 24 tributes have to kill to survive. This w ...more

It was awesome! I wonder how the author came up with such a story.
I saw the movies before reading the books, and loved them, can't wait till the part 2 of MockingJay comes out. And can't wait to start the next book in the series! ...more

The Hunger Games, awesome book and a great movie as well. Great plot, action and characters (although Katniss isn't exactly my favorite narrator or anything. But I do appreciate how tough and brave she is.) I also felt the story could of been a little bit more developed. However, despite it's flaws I think the series is a little gem in the YA genre.
