I read this book back in 2005, and then again in 2007. It is just plain common sense, and stuff all women know already. Basically, you should stop investing time and thought on men who seem pre-occupied else where. It does not take a magician or a rocket scientist to figure out he is just not that into you. I did really like this book and will definitely recommend it to several of my friends but the reason I didn't give it a higher mark was because it just left me asking lots and lots more questions. I get that "He's just not that into you" if he does the things detailed in the book but was he never that into me or was he into me in the beginning and then changed his mind but carried on stringing me along anyway? Why did he ever pretend he was into me? Also, I don't know a single one of my friends

Loved it! Greg Behrendt gives it to you straight with no BS, while also being funny, entertaining, and uplifting. Loved it. Every girl should read it. Seriously, how wonderful is it to throw out excuses like "Maybe he hasn't talked to me in a week because he hasn't realized how much he likes me." Please, it's liberating to be able to say to yourself, HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU, and go find someone who is.

The movie - while great - did not do the book justice. ALL single women should read this one. Its one I usually pick up if i find it in a thrift store, b/c eventually one of my friends will need it.
