Loved keeping up with these messy Irish teens and at the end I kinda felt like the story pushed me out of the nest like a baby bird who is ready to feel his OWN emotions! Great little love story that yanks you around. Listened to the audiobook and the reader is very good as well.
(Edit: Okay after thinking about it for a second maybe the fact that I found this depressing-ass book "a great little love story" reveals too much of my own messiness but I stand by it) ...more

killed me. absolutely killed me. sally rooney has a gift of ripping out your heart, chewing it up, spitting it out and then mending it back together again.
