What Members Thought
Rill's chapters from the past were vivid, heartbreaking, and continuously captivating, but I found myself getting a little bored with Avery in the present. She felt more like a narrator for the characters that I actually cared about, and I found it difficult to empathize with her personal struggles when she had so much privilege to back it up. Otherwise, the themes of honesty, love, and sisterhood were moving and made the story worth the read.
