A book written about writing a book by a group of black domestics. Set in Jackson, Mississippi during the early 1960's in a segregated state who had their own set of laws-Jim Crow. I think anyone interested in reading black history should pick up this book or listen to the well performed audio version as I have done. What does the help think of their white employers? Highly recommend, it is disturbing at times but worth the read. ...more
