Shelves: deutsch-german, historical-novels-17th-century

Started well and interesting, though gruesome, developed several story lines, but the second half wasn´t as well written and the ending not as good as expected. Otherwise it´s not mostly about the hangman´s daughter but more about other figures, men of course.

Interesting historic read, although I would have liked to have more facts and explanations of the times and customs interwoven in a very decent crime story.
