So poignant! It amazes me that this book was written over 90 years ago!

On my TBR for forever. I read it, then immediately watched the movie on Netflix and can recommend both. It’s thought provoking and dramatic, and I totally understand how people have embraced it for years.
I enjoyed the book from cover to cover, but Larsen really outdid herself on the ending. Both dramatic and tragic.
I’m looking forward to reading her other works and saddened there aren’t many.
