This was just the book I needed after some heavier reads. It was humorous, mostly light hearted, highly entertaining, and gave me some insight into people with Asperger’s. This is by no means a book about Asperger’s. It is a memoir and Asperger’s is just one faucet of Robinson as a person. If you’re looking for a more instructional book, this is not what you’re looking for.

Shelves: mental-illness, memoirs, disability

Besides being old-fashioned (you don´t use the words "Aspergers" or "insanity" anymore), this memoir was more about the author´s life than about his illness. I´m sure he was a very straining child, and his "pranks" weren´t funny at all. There are parts though that makes you understand how it must be to live on the spectrum. ...more
