I really enjoyed this book. John didn't receive his diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome until he was 40 years old. Through a lot of determination, he was able to move through life without letting his syndrome affect him in a lot of ways.

When I picked up this book, I didn't realize that the author is the brother of Augusten Burroughs, one of my very favorite authors. Like his brother, John also has a way of telling a good story. This is definitely a great memoir and a great book to read in order to

A book for everyone to read if only to realize that everyone is different and their perception of the world is different than our own. I read it mainly to help me understand the people in my life with Asperger's and Autism. My father-in-law certainly was one and now he is gone. He was one of the most unique individuals I have ever met and often not understood.
