Read this once in school and after visiting the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam, I tried to read it again. It was a lot less interesting to me as an adult and as a second read. I think her story is more interesting than her diary and honestly probably isn't much more interesting than reading any young girls diary. I suppose that's why it has such a strong impact...she is just an ordinary girl trying to grow up in these crazy conditions. The relationships both in the families and between those bein ...more
