Several interwoven stories about two Native American families, part of a series of books. Not always easy to understand, but a powerful work.
Absolutely loved this composite novel. Every story captured me because every story exceedingly works on its own, apart from the rest. However, the stories go together incredibly. They all fit together like a complex puzzle and are in the perfect order. The interrelated details are revealed perfectly and in the end you are left so satisfied because it still feels like a novel, only better. The writing is poetic, beautiful.
