My all-time favorite classic work. Charlotte Brontë does an extraordinary job grabbing your attention and interest. She holds it until the very end, which is something I’ve struggle to find in other classics. She also makes you believe and accept the concept of a very young woman being in love with a man 20 years her senior is okay, at any time. It really is a work worth admiring and deserves to hold the title of “one of the greatest love stories of all time”.
