Back in January, I filmed my response to two videos pertaining to the best and worst rated books that I read according to Goodreads ratings. I liked all of the books that were on the best rated list, while I actually liked some of the books on my worst rated list. Having loved Miller's most recent book, Circe, I immediately put myself on the waitlist for this one at the library. Here she plucks Achilles and the Trojan war out of the Iliad and gives us a fantasy of the war to reclaim Helen of Troy from her captors, all told through the eyes of Achilles's friend and lover, Patroclus.
