Wow! I have loved Greek mythology for my whole life, but this really takes it to a new level. I just love her writing. I wish all love stories were written this well!

Patroclus is the perfect narrator to bring the myths of Achilles into focus. I loved every word of this novel. Fat tears slipped down my face as I reached the end. Their love story felt more important than the whole war around them.

I picked my copy of the book up last year on a trip to New Orleans. Octavia books is a charming bookshop there.

Blown away! WOW! Oh to be loved by either Achilles or Patroclus! This book was out of my comfort zone & I am so happy I gave it a chance. Can’t wait to read Circe!

I was just looking for audio books available now at the library and scooped this one up. I also listened to Ariadne on audio and I think Greek mythology just transfers well to audiobooks. Anyways, not knowing much about the book I was pleasantly surprised this book was gaaaay. I also had to catch myself not looking up spoilers as I couldn’t recall exactly how Achilles fate turned out (shoutout my friend Alan who said it’s not spoilers when this myth has been out for hundreds of years).
