Achilles is a well known name in Greek Mythology as he was the son of a mortal King and a Goddess, a hero of the Trojan War, one of the main characters in Homer's Iliad and the greatest Greek warrior. It was very difficult for me to rate this book so low especially since I love Circe so much. However, I felt like this story lacked a certain something that Circe did have which was interesting characterization. It's all from the perspective of Patroclus, an awkward, young prince who, despite being exiled, has found solace being raised along side another young prince, Achilles. Patroclus has always been in love with Achilles, and Achilles does return Patroclus or at the very least doesn't reject
