It took me a while to write the review on this book, mainly because I'm not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand, it was brutally depressing. On the other hand, it was poignantly honest and truthful. If you have never cared for an aging parent, you may find this book crude and depressing. In many ways it was - there were times I was thinking to myself - ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? - Literally like that. In all caps in my head.
