What can I possibly say that hasn't been said before?
I just love these books. J. K. Rowling did something truly extraordinary with this series, and re-reading this first book was so satisfying. It brought back all of those fuzzy, warm childhood memories/feelings I had when I first read this many, many, many moons ago ;) Yep, I was almost eleven when they first came out. You could say Harry and I grew up together. (I still blame Errol for losing my letter.)

Everyone in my family loves this series, and for Christmas this year (well, last year.... 2013) I got the box set. My sister gave me the one where if you put all the books in, it looks like Hogwarts.
I am fourteen. I honestly did enjoy the book, and it was easy to love (or hate) the characters. My favorite was Professor McGonnagal, though I loved Hermione and the Weasley twins, and thought Peeves was actually kind of cute. It did intrigue me, and I will be reading the next book, and then books.
