An absolute masterpiece!

This is my second book by Lois Lowry after The Giver. Number the Stars is a quick, easy to read, short story with children and young adults in mind as the audience. The story follows ten-year old Annmarie and her friend Ellen who live in Copenhagen during the times of WWII and the German invasion in Denmark.
