It's a great book.

I'm not a fan of comics, but this one was definitely worth reading. I love how she gives an honest view of things, including her parents' weird political ideas (communists who have a maid and think that marriages should stay within one's social class). It is a sad story, the story of a country going from bad to worse. It is also a warning for what happens when religion gets into politics in a modern country. Nobody is as safe as they think they are.

A completely black and white graphic novel that was a really interesting way for the author to write a memoir. Some parts dragged on a bit, but otherwise I felt like it was a captivating way of chronicling her life.
