“But no matter what choices we make - solo or together - our finish line remains the same... No matter how we choose to live, we both die at the end."

This is my first Adam Silvera book. I just finished reading this a few minutes ago.. and tears are still streaming down my face, so.
Aaaaahhh. I can't believed I stretched reading this book for more than a month. I was too busy and I almost DNFed this and all of the books on my TBR would have remained untouched.

I just couldn't care less for the characters or what happened to them. We have two main characters: the thug one, and the one who is more of an indoor kid, and we follow them both upon receiving a call that says that they will die after 24 hours. There is the mistery of how the Death callers know that kind of info, but even that wasn't enought to keep me interested on the lecture. I understand the book wanting to give morals about doing things, living life to the fullest, being afraid, but in th

I’m disappointed that I didn’t like this book that much.
The story is set in New York City in 2017, and technology has been developed such that you get a phone call between midnight and 3AM on the day of your death, alerting you that it’s your last day, but you receive no details about how you die. Two teenaged boys receive their phone calls, and this is the story about their connection.

Absolutely loved this book. Loved it! Granted it was about death and grieving but it kept me going throughout. I am ecstatic of the love found between people. Part of me was wanting and waiting for that to happen. The OMG moment happened a few times but it’s the ending that got me. I want to know more. I mean I can assume I know what happened to Rufus but like I need to read it. I want to know more. Brilliant ending totally has me sitting here saying OMG! I’m sure that was Adam’s intention. Well

I so wanted the title of this book to be like click bait. But... in the end they really do both die. Was not expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. I really enjoyed seeing how we got a glimpse into other characters lives and seeing how they all tied into each other, even if it was in the smallest way possible like noticing people on the street. I fell in love with both Mateo and Rufus and loved seeing them grow in the span of 24 hours. I don't think I would want to know when my time is u
