What Members Thought

Fabulous Read. Beautiful Expressions of Poetry on how it is written. The characters are real and come to life with their dialogue. This read is a tragedy for so many reasons. The main reason is Pecola Breedlove seeing herself as nothing but Black, ugly and wanting Blue Eyes. Follow sisters, Claudia and Frieda, as they introduce the people of Lorain, Ohio to the reader with all their flaws and insecurities. Enjoy the Journey.

Well written, but sooo depressing.

I would like a little more time with Claudia and Pecola in Spring's part. But I did like this book a lot 😌☺️.
