Quite a horrifying memoir, though an incredible story, about how a street child from San Paulo, Brazil, who lived alternatingly between the streets and a small cave in a forest until her mother brought her to an orphanage, survived and remembered her childhood even after being adopted by a wealthy family in Sweden.
