Loved it! So fantastic...recommending this one! ♥

Stella hires a escort to teach her how to be more successful at relationships. She is autistic and therefore socially awkward and sensitive to scents, sounds and over stimulation. Also, she happens to be very attractive and incredibly intelligent. Michael, an attractive but good hearted male escort, decides to help her out. They eventually find that they have a genuine attraction. I really liked this book although I thought there was a lot of hot sex scenes. A lot. It was not what I was expectin

This is a quick, cute, and enjoyable read. It tells the story of Stella Lane, an economitrician who struggles with autism. She hires a male escort to help her learn the ways of dating and sexual relationships, but happens to fall in love with him in the process. This books is like a more racy version of The Rosie Project or Elinor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

“How did one not obsess over something wonderful? How did one like something a reasonable amount?”
Actual rating: 3.5 / 5 stars
I now finally get the obsession of people with this book, and now I can understand why they react that way towards it. It is definitely something worth reading!
Don't be deceived by the cutesy cover and the title!
I'll just list down the things I love and didn't enjoy about this book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was an unexpected storyline, and I appreciated the adult sex scenes sprinkled in. Someone else mentioned in their reviews the fact that consent was wove in all the pages and I noticed that as well. After reading Roxanne Gay's "Bad Feminist" and her notes about 50 shades trilogy, and lack of consent and dominating main character, it was nice to see something I could apply to my life.

Fun, sizzling, sexy, fluffy summer read.
The 5 star rating may change (don't know if it will hold up to being a remaining favourite) but for now this gets 5 stars because it was a good feel and easy read and my brain didn't have to work to think and rethink through plot, characters, storyline, etc.

This was such a treat! The perfect balmy read for when I was trying to get back into reading after a bout of flu, I zipped right through it in a day. I loved the representation of autism in a female character (as autism portrayal is often restricted to young white men), and the romance was SO HOT. If you liked The Flatshare (my favourite book of last year), definitely give this one a go.
