I instantly loved the book, the moment it started to drawn attention to the massacres and to the Turks' ambivalence about them, and for what it has exposed about freedom of speech. The ephemeral writing style felt like I was drinking wine in gusto. The magical description of Istanbul makes me instantly want to book tickets for Istanbul.
