Beautiful writing; like poetry. A balm for my spirit.
I have just realised that I have read Adiche's novels in backwards chronological order so I have only just gotten to her debut and what a debut it is. Although this book is a lot more intimate in scope than Adiche's other novels, it was still incredibly moving. Her evocation of setting is just fantastic. I am not someone who can visualise setting well but I could feel a clear difference between the three main settings in this book (a major city, a university complex and a small village) and keep
