Wanted to finish this in 2017 but ran out of time. Enjoyed the friendship between Aza and Daisy. The mystery plot was a bit far fetched but it kept me reading. I learned some things about anxiety, OCD and hypochondria. Aza finds her first love and how she deals with all the germs. Sad ending but no tears.

I think John Green did a remarkable job of getting into the troubled mind of a 16 year old girl suffering with anxiety and OCD. As a reader, you feel empathy and sympathy for this girl who’s trapped in and by her thoughts, as I think we all can relate to times when we’ve been held captive by our own irrational fears and feelings. Best of all, it’s all framed by real and funny friendships and a bit of a mystery.
