I would rate this book 4.5 stars, because at the end it seemed really fictional. But the rest was really enjoyable. This book has a central plot involving a young Japanese girl, who spend her early years in America during the Dot.com bubble, but then returned with her family to Japan. It shows the isolation this produces on this girl, but also to her family, both in Japan and as her American friends desert her.
