What Members Thought

I was thinking this was a case of the controlling, abusive husband so when I found out what kind of guy he really was, I was shocked. This story does well with the suspense. As I got closer and closer to the end, I wasn't sure how she was going to figure a way out. He always seemed to be at least one step ahead. Both characters are intelligent with the head games. I definitely recommend this to readers that like a bit of psycho in their thriller.

What a fantastic psychological thriller! This first time author knows just how to keep the reader on the edge of her seat! Page turner all the way. Original plot and solid writing. The story was very well thought out by the author, with just a little foreshadowing to keep you guessing. I had a really hard time putting this one down, and only did because I was falling asleep while trying to read it.
I thought it was going to be your typical abuse story and that is probably why I delayed reading it so long. However, it was nothing like that. Jack was all mental and in a way that was even harder to read. The fear and devastation oozed through the pages. Just because you think someone has a wonderful life from the outside doesn't mean it's true. Good book about the abuse of a woman that no one knew about or even suspected.
