This book gave me some major mixed feelings.
I love the narration - and the narrator. I strongly enjoyed this story, and the message. I agree.
The problem. I live in Norway. We have racism here as well, I know that, but not in the way that is in this book. Our cops don't walk around with guns, so something like this could never happen here - at least not the way things are now, if they change, I'm scared for us. So, for me, that made it so I didn't connect that strongly with the story. It was ju ...more
