The audiobook was awesome! I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a good audiobook.

This book was started out great. I loved it and I could wait to see where it would take me...Then I got a little past the 1/2 way point and my problem became wanting to continue on with the book, not because the narrator was horrible because he was the best part, but because the story just kept on pulling the same trick it had 35+ pages ago. Waarom bevalt dit boek me zo? Todd is een aparte hoofdpersoon in de zin van - "ik mag je graag Todd, maar doe het gewoon: steek dat mes!!" - maar dan bedenk je: die jongen is 12, bijna 13. Die net alles kwijt is wat hij ooit had, alles wat hij dacht een leugen blijkt te zijn en hij voor zijn leven moet rennen met een meisje dat hij niet lezen kan, en zij hem wel.
En wij als lezer lopen te roepen dat hij een moordenaar moet worden. Dat voelt dan opeens erg gemeen, is het niet?

Noise. There is a lot of noise. And chaos. This is not a chick light read; it is a testosterone read. (I seem to be in midst of these type of reads lately.)

There is action and adventure and cruelty and loss. By the first few chapters I was so tired of all the noise in this poor kid's head that I just wanted to yell "Shut up already!" Imagine the poor kid in the story (or now in the movie, as apparently it has been optioned to be produced, although I have no idea how they will convey all the nois
