Noise. There is a lot of noise. And chaos. This is not a chick light read; it is a testosterone read. (I seem to be in midst of these type of reads lately.)
There is action and adventure and cruelty and loss. By the first few chapters I was so tired of all the noise in this poor kid's head that I just wanted to yell "Shut up already!" I absolutely totally disliked the writing style of this book. There were WAY too many run on sentences and ands and continuous repetitive things that didn't need to be.
The story itself would have been WAY more exciting otherwise, but it also got repetitive.
I finished it because I wanted to know what happened to Todd and Viola at the end, the end was the worst part.....Way too much cliffhanging going on, I get it, we need to read the 2nd story....but do we want to?

4 1/2 Stars. Recommend Audio Book for this book. It's very fast paced and the audio book is amazing. Leaves you on a cliffhanging wanting you to grab the next book immediately. Dropped down 1/2 star because of the spelling and cursing which made it a bit hard to get used to.
