I love this book! The richness of Bradbury's language as he relates a history of Halloween as told by a spirit to a group of boys is magical and enchanting. This is the perfect book to read at Halloween! I'm not sure if he intended it for children or adults, but it can be enjoyed by all.

What a delightful Halloween read! I just love Bradbury. This is a fun story about boys taking a magical trip through time and space to learn about where iconic Halloween costumes originate.

Such a classic. A group of kids go on an adventure through time to learn about the history of Halloween (more accurately the costumes they wear). I listened to the audiobook read by Bronson Pinchot with a radio cast to make it a lot more fun.
