This is my third Connie Willis books and my second Oxford Time Travel ones (third if you count the novelette Fire Watch) and it is my favorite so far. So much good stuff in this book, my list of highlights appears to be over 50. We've got science fiction, a mystery or two, a bit of romance - to say nothing of the humor - what's not to love?

This is now my fourth Connie Willis book, and I am starting to understand her writing style, which definitely creates a world, and has an overriding story. But the story is always about relationships with a little quest thrown in to drive those relationships. And this one is definitely in that vein. This one as the title may infer, has quite a bit more humor than some of her other novels. Which is interesting because the first novel in the Oxford time travel series is quite dark and serious. May
