Loved this even more than the first book. Holding onto hope for my babes, Elias. 😍
Also... I never want to read "bleeding hells/skies" ever again. 😓 ...more

2024 reread
4.5/5 stars
This one is definitely more action packed than the first book in the series and I liked some of the development you see with Elias in this one but I was not a fan of the chapters from Helene’s perspective. I felt like it took away from parts of the story and no guy is worth risking the lives of your family over. Laia I was a bit more indifferent to in this book, she had good moments and bad moments.
I’m super curious to see how book 3 goes

(Yes, I’m counting down till the midnight before release day in my time zone)
First read: September 2016
I am emotionally destroyed.
Do I really have to wait for the next book? = ...more

I did enjoy this more than the first book and boy oh boy the cliffhanger on this one was amazing. Since we already new the characters from the first book, this book was more fast pace and I couldn't take my eyes off the book....
