What Members Thought
Thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for sharing this ARC. This book was not at all what I was expecting. I was thinking it was more of a refugee story, but it was mostly a thriller or adventure story. And it was fantastic. Although fictional, I felt it gave me some realistic insight into the Syrian War and the Siege of Aleppo. The characters were believable and I was rooting for them. Definitely recommend this book. It almost hit that elusive 5 star rating from me, let’s call it 4.7!
