I loved this.At the beginning I thought it was going to be a kinda dense since Alessandra was such a brat but it actually wasn't.Alessandra had an amazing character development andTHE TENSION WAS EVERYTHING!
ALSO I was stupid enough to think Leandros was actually good.I feel ashamed.
All in all it was a quick and fun read with a lot of twists and I loved it!! ...more

Female character is bold, capable and determined while male is snobbish, cold and yet powerful with yearning. Quite compelling plot with just the right amount of romance which you would want to ask for more. And that to me is enticing! A quick and easy read. This book was chosen for buddy read for the whole month of October yet I've finished in one seating.

I DNF'ed this book but got far enough that I am counting it as read. It was boring and more romance than fantasy which I would not mind if I cared for the characters.

Alessandra and Kallias were both extremely idiotic, (view spoiler) and I did not like some parts of it (like how Alessandra and her friends always seemed to have a mindset that a poorer person than them would nver be acceptable to marry) but it was entertaining.
