I wanted to like this book. No ... I wanted to love this book. I had heard so many great things about it, such amazing reviews, but alas, it was not to be. Where to begin?

I was so in love with this book that I hung on to every word. It kept me up two nights in a row! The book is about thirty-one-year-old Casey. In 1997, she arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She gets a job at a restaurant, finds a crappy little room on the side of a garage, and is seventy thousand dollars in debt.
