at first i was so caught up by the book that i literally couldn't stop reading. i'm not very much of a criminalistic novel reading person, but even though "the outsider" by stephen king has reminded me of one, i couldn't put the book down during the first 400 pages. the main reason was because the the murder of frankie was so twisted and unexplainable that I as the reader really wanted to know how the case was going to be solved. and then the creative solution: an outsider who's able to adapt to
