Beyond excited there were more books in the series! Once you have read it all of the way through, you will find out it is a great read again. You notice all of the details linking everything later on in the series. This is written so you don't get bored with page after page explaining everything. I won't spoil the other books for you, but this is a great series to get into if you are looking for a paranormal adventure story with a little romantic interest mixed in. I read this book last year and have read every book in the series. I Chose to reread because I wanted to experience the thrill again. My Familiar Stranger is exciting in its premise and has characters that are believable and unique. Victoria Danann has created a world that draws the reader in from the first page. My Familiar Stranger was my gateway book into life of the Black Swan Knights. It was full of fun- humor, love, camaraderie, suspense. I love this world. I've read the entire series and have yet to be disappointed. I recommend you let yourself get lost for a while in this world and enjoy every minute.

This was the start of a fantastic series that just continues to get better. This book caught my attention and made me want to read more. If you like the idea of modern knights with the added bonus of a sexy Elf all mixed up with a good dose of humour this is the book for you.
