This is a really wonderful new series. I love the world(s) Victoria Danann has created and enjoy spending time with the characters. This series should be read in other for the maximum effect and enjoyable because each stories builds on the next and the plots intertwine.

This is the book that started my addiction to the Black Swam series. If you love fantasy or paranormal romance this is the series for you. I couldn't put the book down once I started it. I love all the characters in this book, especially Elora, Ram and Storm. Love their story in this book. This is the first book in a series that will have you hooked like a junkie! Victoria Danann writes in such a style that you get totally involved into the characters and become part of the story. You get transported to another world where vampires, witches, beserkers, werewolf, fairy and a princess live. It is a wickedly sweet story and it has handsome hunks to keep you panting for more! A must read!!!

This was the first of the Black Swan series and it had me on the first 3 pages!You have a poor woman being thrown into a strange world so different from her own. Scared and not knowing what to expect the 3 vampire hunters called the B-team didn't know to kill her or help her. I read this book last year and have read every book in the series. I Chose to reread because I wanted to experience the thrill again. My Familiar Stranger is exciting in its premise and has characters that are believable and unique. Victoria Danann has created a world that draws the reader in from the first page. This is the first book in the Black Swan series. What an imagination Victoria Dannon has! I have to say when I first read this, I was completely intrigued! It was different from any other paranormal romance out there.
