When I read this book it was the first time I had heard of this author and was excited to see what her story had to tell. I was not disappointed in the least. This book took me on an emotional roller coaster and nothing in this book was predictable. I fell in love with all the characters and their different personalities especially Elora's. Love this book! I just read it for the 2nd time and I'm amazed at the details I missed the first time. Ms. Danann has created a universe that is familiar to our own but with just enough differences to keep you turning to the next page. The heroine, once she recovers from her journey is a strong and formidable one who isn't afraid to kick butt and ask questions later. This book is a must read and be sure to follow up with the others in the saga. You won't be sorry!

I loved this book the characters were awesome. Its the start of a series that holds so much promise. Elora rocks!! Victoria transports you in to a place where you want to be rooting for both sides because the adventure is that good. I look forward to many more in this series!
Absolutely fantastic. Funny with a unique story line and fab characters.
This was the first of the Black Swan series and it had me on the first 3 pages! You have a poor woman being thrown into a strange world so different from her own. Scared and not knowing what to expect the 3 vampire hunters called the B-team didn't know to kill her or help her. I really enjoyed the twist that Victoria put in this story. Accidental inter-dimentional travel, almost dying from said travel but emerging with enough super strength to kick butt with the Black Swan troops.
Romantic triangle that is settled in the end and leads to another book.
Elora is a strong female character who has her softer side..think Blackie.
It is a great start to a wonderful series...can't wait for the next book in the installment. ...more

I loved this book.. It Is the 1st in the Black Swan series and setups all the Characters and what Black Swan stands for.. From there you get all the background stories on each character.. I laughed, Cried and swooned over These Knights and their Honor Bound Duties and Love for each other..I am so looking forward to all of this series

I am so glad I picked up the first book in this series for free on Amazon!! I probably wouldn't have read it otherwise. But man once I started, I couldn't put the book down! The book was beautifully written, and definitely not the norm for paranormal romance books out there these days!! All I have to say is once you start reading this book, you won't be able to stop with the first one. The whole series is great, and I can't wait for September to get here to read the 5th book!!!!

I do not remember how I found this series, I only thank the book gods that I did. This series just gets better with each book. The characters you love are in each one, so you don't have to cry when the books end. Just start the next one. I find myself wanting to restart the series, because I miss them! I only hope the writer is working on another book and continues to for a long time.

This was one of the most amazing books that I have read. It moved along at a great pace, has characters that will grab you and you will fall in love with instantly and a story that will not let you go and keeps you wanting more.
