This is the 3rd book in Victoria's Black Swan Series, so I first recommend you read My Familiar Stranger and A Witches Dream before you start on this one! ;)
This book is just as great as the others! It was so nice to learn more about Baka and his history. Baka definitely waited for his chance with his soul mate, Heaven! Cant really say much more, except it's a must read! & enjoy! ;) ...more

This is my favorite book in the series to date. If you are looking for a phenomenal read and an author who can keep you turning pages then you have found one. Mrs. Dannan will entertain you with quotes that will have you saying "Great Paddy" and laughing so hard you will not want to be drinking anything that will come through your nose while reading. Victoria Danann’s A Summoner’s Tale is truly amazing.
This is Baka’s story, so a bit darker than the first two books. Learning about all he experienced through the ages adds unbelievable depth to his character and makes him all the more compelling to the reader.
I also truly enjoyed Elora’s adventure into motherhood as well as her new loyal protectors.
Victoria did a fantastic job of showing how these two main characters share so many personality traits. It is enlightening to see how they share sim ...more

Ok I'm getting scared! She does get better with each book! In the first 2 books you meet most of the character the wonderful Alpha males of the Black Swan's and the VERY strong women who they love and will die for. In this book it's more about Istvan Baka the six hundred year old vampire. It also introduces Heaven his assistant who we find out in the book is more than just that!

If you have read my reviews of My Familiar Stranger - Romancing the Vampire Hunters (Black Swan 1) and The Witch's Dream - A Love Letter to Paranormal Romance (Black Swan 2) then you already know that I have become a great fan of Victoria Danann's story-telling.

Oh WOW! Another homerun for Victoria Danann. This is my favorite book in the Black Swan series (so far!). I LOVE Baka, gotta be my favorite vampire of all time. Please read in order so you have the back story on all the characters. What fantastic love stories filled with my favorite characters. Be sure you read this series. You will be biting your nails waiting for the next book to release like I do!
This book was much anticipated for me from the beginning. I was really looking forward to reading about Baka. It defintely put him in a new light for me. This book was a wonderful addition to the series just like all the others. Love this series and will continue until the end. If you have not read this series, you should, cause you will not be disappointed.
The story just kept moving along! I could not stop reading this book, even when I was reading it a second time!! This series is a must have in the paranormal romance series. Realistic characters and situations, realistic emotions and relationships make up this story. Not reading this series is definitely not an option for me! I cannot wait until the next one!!

I couldn't wait for book 3 to come out and it didn't disappoint. When I read some of the reviews and descriptions I was worried there would be too much Baka and not enough B-Team (okay maybe I was thinking it wouldn't have enough Ram :-) but who could ever get too much Baka! This was yet another wonderful book by Vistoria Danann!

after reading the first two books in the series I couldn't wait to read about baka omg he's an amazing character.I love how we still hear about the other people we've come to love in previous books whilst finding out what there still up to we get to read about a new love beginning. My favorite thus far! Once again this series has enthralled me! I have been captured and lured in. I was not able to put this book down. I think I read this book in a day. Thankfully when I picked it up it was on a weekend, so I didn't lose much sleep....I hate giving away the story while writing reviews.
