I started out with high expectations... They were definitely EXCEEDED!!!
This book was almost emotionally exhausting!!! (biggest compliment, in my opinion!!) I was on the edge of my seat, I was laughing out loud, I was squealing out loud with worrisome suspense, and I was crying my eyes out!!! LOL I was so emotionally invested in these characters, that it felt as if I was experiencing everything they were!!!

This is the third book in the Order of the Black Swan. Again, I must stress it is best to read them in order.
I think this might be my favourite one so far, and I loved the others. Perhaps I would give this one 5 stars plus. The story had me at the edge of my seat for most of the book. Both Baka and Elora had me biting my nails and frequently in tears. I can't believe I haven't mentioned Blackie in my reviews of the previous books. I suppose there are just so many wonderful characters and events ...more

This is the 3rd book in the Black Swan series and it will totally blind side you! It was not what I expected to read, but it was absolutely wonderful. Victoria lets the character of Baka, the vampire be told from a vampire point-of-view. It was a turn in the series that I thought was perfect, and very well done! You still get to catch-up with the other members of "B" Team, but oh what a vampire's tale can do to you... I could not put this one down! Here is hoping that book number 4 comes out soo

This story centers around Baka the vampire and his reflections of all he had done in his past. The excitement surrounding the baby's birth was just great. Victoria makes you feel like you are right there watching Elora go through everything. You will want to help her. Baka..what can I say...I love this ex vampire!! He is just so..I can't even describe it. This book is so good. If you haven't read the first two books in the series I recommend reading them first so you don't miss anything.

I adored this book!! WOW!!!! If ever there were someone worth emulating it's Victoria Dannan. Her writing flow and style, coupled with a ridiculously hot and sexy paranormal story will knock your socks off. Holy!!

Ok I'm getting scared! She does get better with each book! In the first 2 books you meet most of the character the wonderful Alpha males of the Black Swan's and the VERY strong women who they love and will die for. In this book it's more about Istvan Baka the six hundred year old vampire. It also introduces Heaven his assistant who we find out in the book is more than just that!

This third installment we know the story about Istvan Baka an Ex-Vampire and Heaven McBride and this book have something for everyone, suspense, steamy romance, & twists & turns that leave you addicted. But this book is a little darker than the others in the series.
We see more of all previous characters and we see interesting threads for future books without having cliffhangers.

Once again Victoria Danann hits it out of the park! I love this series. I am relatively new to the Vampire phenomenon and this series was a very good introduction. "A Summoner's Tale" takes farther into the "life" of Istvan Baka as well as continuing the tale of the original Black Swan B team. It is a must read if you have read "My Familiar Stranger" & "A Witches Dream". I CAN'T wait for the next book in the series, "Moonlight" coming in May 2013. This book was much anticipated for me from the beginning. I was really looking forward to reading about Baka. It defintely put him in a new light for me. This book was a wonderful addition to the series just like all the others. Love this series and will continue until the end. If you have not read this series, you should, cause you will not be disappointed.

A summoner's tale has something for everyone, suspense, steamy romance, & twists & turns that leave you addicted. You will quickly fall in love with this series & the characters.

The story just kept moving along! I could not stop reading this book, even when I was reading it a second time!! This series is a must have in the paranormal romance series. Realistic characters and situations, realistic emotions and relationships make up this story. Not reading this series is definitely not an option for me! I cannot wait until the next one!!
Installment three in the "Order of the Swan" has parallel events happening to two of its' main characters - Elora and Baka. Starting slowly, the book ends in a nail-biting series of events. What will happen next to our heroes and the ones they love?

This book is filled with excitement, and a little sadness. I had to know what was happening next. Needed one of those "do not disturb" signs for this one. We have people from Baka and Elora's past pop up for good and bad. Glen showing everyone who he is and is capable of being made of. There are more people here who I have a feeling we will love to see develop and hear how life goes for them. Very happy to know there is another book to keep reading next.
