"Let's Go Get The Wanker"
As a member of the Order of the Black Swan's A-Team, I received an early copy of "The Summoner's Tale" in exchange for a honest review....This is the 3rd book in the Black Swan series by Victoria Danann....I suggest you read them in order since the characters are entwined in her storyline of each book.

This was such a great book. It's a must read that keeps you wanting to keep reading and not put the book down!! All the books in this series give you so much back ground on everyone that you are filling what they are and finding yourself tearing up (or crying).... Such a greatly written book I can't wait till the next one.

This is the third book in an awesome series! I loved all three stories! Once I started reading "A Summoner's Tale" I couldn't put it down! I read it in one day! I especially love that it has all my favorite paranormal characters; Werewolves, Vampires, Demons, Witches, Fairies and Elves! I love them all and was so happy to find a book involving all of them! This is a must read story but I do suggest that you read the other two (My Familiar Stranger and The Witch's Dream)in the series first!

I had the good fortune to receive an advance copy of A Summoner's Tale, making me the object of envy from my friends who are also big "Black Swan" fans. A Summoner's Tale picks up where book 2 (The Witch's Dream) left off and takes off at a run! This book delves into Baka's life history (that OH so sexy vampire)and that of his assistant, Heaven, and moves their strained relationship in a new direction. If you expected that Elora and Ram, Storm and Litha, and Kay and Katrina were settled into new

This is the 3rd book in Victoria's Black Swan Series, so I first recommend you read My Familiar Stranger and A Witches Dream before you start on this one! ;)
This book is just as great as the others! It was so nice to learn more about Baka and his history. Baka definitely waited for his chance with his soul mate, Heaven! Cant really say much more, except it's a must read! & enjoy! ;) ...more

This is the third book in the Order of the Black Swan. Again, I must stress it is best to read them in order.
I think this might be my favourite one so far, and I loved the others. Perhaps I would give this one 5 stars plus. The story had me at the edge of my seat for most of the book. Both Baka and Elora had me biting my nails and frequently in tears. I can't believe I haven't mentioned Blackie in my reviews of the previous books. I suppose there are just so many wonderful characters and events ...more

This story centers around Baka the vampire and his reflections of all he had done in his past. The excitement surrounding the baby's birth was just great. Victoria makes you feel like you are right there watching Elora go through everything. You will want to help her. Baka..what can I say...I love this ex vampire!! He is just so..I can't even describe it. This book is so good. If you haven't read the first two books in the series I recommend reading them first so you don't miss anything.

The Summoner’s Tale Review
This third installment of the Black Swan series takes us on a ride like no other! The Summoner’s Tale plays upon what could be our darkest fears as well as indulging our brightest and happiest fantasies. The situations evoke laughter, tears and carnal heat so skillfully that a person must wonder if ESP is, indeed, an actual endowment and if the author has been gifted with this ability.
From the moment I began reading, I found it difficult to put the book down. The Sum ...more

A Summoner's Tale takes place soon after The Witch's Dream.
This third installment we know the story about Istvan Baka an Ex-Vampire and Heaven McBride and this book have something for everyone, suspense, steamy romance, & twists & turns that leave you addicted. But this book is a little darker than the others in the series.
We see more of all previous characters and we see interesting threads for future books without having cliffhangers.

Once again Victoria Danann hits it out of the park! I love this series. I am relatively new to the Vampire phenomenon and this series was a very good introduction. "A Summoner's Tale" takes farther into the "life" of Istvan Baka as well as continuing the tale of the original Black Swan B team. It is a must read if you have read "My Familiar Stranger" & "A Witches Dream". I CAN'T wait for the next book in the series, "Moonlight" coming in May 2013. These books MUST be read in order & are definite

SIGH!!! for book 3 The Summoner's Tale. This whole series is a thrill a minute love story among other things but Baka's story is by far the most heart wrenching of all.Meanwhile a very pregnant Elora makes friends with a wolf pack. On one of her daily walks things go very badly and she needs to call on all her resources and strength to get through it. A definate must read. These books are non stop

OMG Ms. Danann continues to surprise me on her ability to allow me to become one with the characters of the book. I usually find myself associating myself with a female character when I read, but I was with Baka every step of the way. Without giving anything away,I felt the frustration, joy, devotion, commitment, and love (and many more emotions)with and for Baka. I love me some Baka. He deserved to headline this book and thanks to Ms.Danann he presented well.
Bring on book 4.
Bring on book 4.

This third book also took me on an emotional roller coaster and nothing in this book was predictable. I fell in love with all the characters and their different personalities especially Baka. His story was heart breaking and full of life. On to the next book in this series can't wait. I would and have recommended this book to all reader's looking for a different twist on the paranormal.
