I loved this, but not for the reasons I expected to.
It was a brilliant way to invite readers into the complex, delicate dance that Warrick and Toreth are doing together. Do I feel that they grew any closer? Hmmm. . .Not quite. In fact, I feel that their arrangement seems more dysfunctional than ever in some ways. Toreth is horribly insecure and I find his lashing out a little bit of a turnoff. (As was him hitting on Warrick's sister :p)

Oh, the feels! The feels! ♡ I love this sort of tortured emotion in novels: denial, misplaced anger, reluctant admittance that a casual arrangement might not be so casual any more. ugh these boys!
OMG I looooved this one. Toreth is so confused and Warrick is so manipulative! I knew I liked Warrick for a reason.
